          When we buy silicon carbide rods, in order not to affect the use of the equipment, we need to carry out certain tests to determine the advantages and disadvantages of silicon carbide rods. So how to detect it? Here are a few possible ways:

1. First judge from the surface of the silicon carbide rod:

Different from the material of the silicon carbide rod, the equipment generally uses high-purity silicon carbide as the raw material; judging from the size and specification of the silicon carbide rod and the welded part of the interface; the resistance measurement process in the heating part of the silicon carbide rod and the subsequent The service life, etc., can compare the quality of silicon carbide rods.

2. Through instrument detection:

(1) Through the detailed record of the ammeter data and the output percentage of the temperature control meter. When the furnace temperature is stable at a certain temperature, if the rod is broken, the output percentage of the meter will increase compared with the previous time period, and the current displayed by the ammeter will decrease.

(2) Compare the current value and the instrument output percentage of the two groups of silicon carbide rods inside and outside the same temperature zone. In the case of the same output percentage, the internal resistance current should be close to half of the external group current.

(3) Compare different temperature zones. When the temperature is the same, compare the output percentage and current value of the temperature control meter. The internal resistance is compared with the inner group, and the outer group is compared with the outer group. When the temperature control meter outputs the same percentage, the current should be basically the same. You can observe the furnace to see if there is a black ring. If there is an obvious black ring, the possibility of breaking the rod is relatively high.

The above is the detection method of whether there is abnormality in the silicon carbide rod. Through different testing methods, a more accurate judgment can be made. If conditions permit, the two methods can be used together. If problems are found during inspection, they must be solved in time, and repaired or replaced according to the actual situation to avoid affecting the production.
